Monday, September 05, 2011 From The Desk Toby A Robinson Australia’s Most Senior Person in Government Corruption & False Flag Terrorism Under Australian Law Al Qa`eda is listed as a Terrorist Organization, being a member of it, supporting it via Weapons, Money and other material support is Illegal. By Australia supporting the Rebels in Libya, who have confessed to belonging to the Terrorist Group Al Qa`eda, they are in true fact breaking the law. • The Law is written very clearly “Al Qa`eda” Is listed as a Terrorist Group! • Being a member of this group is against the Law! • Supplying Weapons, Money and other Material Support to a Terrorist Group is against the Law! ***** Isn’t that what David Hick’s was tortured into confessing and being found guilty of? For helping fight with Al Qa`eda in Afghanistan?, For lending material support to a Terrorist Group. 1 The Australian Federal Police & ASIO is here by called to arrest the following people for lending Material Support to a Terrorist Group / Organization in Libya. If Australian Federal Police & ASIO refuse to arrest these below people, then everybody looking on can see these Organizations are corrupt, compromised, and the Heads of these Organizations stand Guilty also of Aiding these following politicians into breaking the Law. Plausible Deniability • • • • I never got the phone call My Secretary never told me I was away on Holidays My advisers, informed me wrong And all the other excuses these politicians can think up will not help. Soon as it was reported in the Mainstream Media who is with the Rebels in Libya “Al Qa`eda” members, as reported in The New York Times, Russia Tonight and many, many other Mainstream Media News, Current Affairs, Radio, and Alternative Media (These following people should have and not commit any Australian Resources & Materials). • I didn’t know! • I am sorry I promise not to do it again! 2 These excuses wont wash, As an Australian citizen I demand the below politicians be held accountable to obey the same Laws every other Australian has to obey. The Shame List • Julia Gillard MHR - Prime Minister • Kevin Rudd MHR - Foreign Affairs Minister • Craig Emerson MHR – Acting Foreign Affairs • Stephen Smith MHR - Defense Minister • Robert McClelland MHR – Attorney General • Tony Abbott MHR – Opposition Leader • Julie Bishop MHR – Deputy Opposition Leader & Shadow Foreign Affairs • Senator George Brandis - Shadow Attorney-General • Senator David Johnson - Shadow Defense If Australian Federal Police and ASIO refuse to ACT and arrest all these people for supporting A Terrorist Group and giving material support to a Terrorist Group, then this gives the Australian People a Trigger for Marching on Parliament House and demanding the whole Parliament resign or be pulled out of Parliament House ropes thrown up over a few trees and hangings to take place. Evidence To Follow The above people are supporting A Terrorist Group 3 Evidence 1) The Government & Parliament Admission They Are Supporting A Terrorist Group. Australia Supports the New Libya at International Conference Media release: Dr Craig Emerson, Minister for Trade and Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs 1 September 2011 Speaking at a conference on the new Libya, Acting Foreign Affairs Minister Craig Emerson today pledged Australia’s support for international efforts to meet Libya’s urgent humanitarian needs and for reconstruction and the transition to democracy. The International Conference in Support of the New Libya, held in Paris, was co-chaired by French President Nicolas Sarkozy and UK Prime Minister David Cameron. It brought together key figures of Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) and leaders and ministers from around 60 countries and 10 international organisations, including US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. Addressing the conference, Dr Emerson said: “Australia pays tribute to the courage, determination and sacrifice of the Libyan people since February in their pursuit of freedom and justice. 4 “And we pay tribute to the National Transitional Council for leading the Libyan people in their struggle to achieve a new and better Libya, in which Libyans can determine their own future.” Dr Emerson joined other speakers in urging Qaddafi to step down and for his forces to lay down their arms to avoid further, senseless bloodshed. Dr Emerson pointed out that Australia had demonstrated its unwavering commitment to support the Libyan people from very early on in the conflict. “Australia was one of the first and most vocal countries to call for a no-fly zone and Australia had been the thirdlargest contributor of humanitarian assistance to Libya,” Dr Emerson told the conference. Dr Emerson advised the conference that that Australia would contribute an additional $4.6 million to the International Committee of the Red Cross to support immediate humanitarian needs such as urgent medical assistance in conflict areas, food and water in Tripoli and the removal of explosive ordnance. This extra Red Cross funding would bring Australia’s total contribution to Libya from within its existing aid budget Libya to $41.1 million. Dr Emerson also informed the conference of Australia’s decision to extend financial support to 650 Libyan students in Australia as a demonstration of support for those left without funds because of the conflict. 5 “It is students such as these who, when they return home, will be invaluable to the rebuilding of Libya,” Dr Emerson said. And he offered Australia’s technical support for any revival of Libyan efforts to accede to the World Trade Organization. “Australia supports aid for trade and what better way of supporting Libya’s economic future than assisting the country to join the World Trade Organization if that is its wish,” Dr Emerson said. Dr Emerson welcomed collective international efforts to release Qaddafi assets frozen in offshore accounts to help meet the immediate humanitarian needs of the Libyan people. • • Minister Emerson's Office: (02) 6277 7420 DFAT Media Liaison: (02) 6261 1555 Evidence 2) The Rebels are a Collection Of Al Qa`eda and other listed Terrorist Groups Libyan Rebels Listed by US State Department as Terrorists In March 2011, the London Telegraph reported that Libya’s rebels had direct ties to Al Qaeda and that both leaders and fighters had spent time in both Iraq and Afghanistan combating US troops. 6 The article titled, “Libyan rebel commander admits his fighters have al-Qaeda links” featured Abdel-Hakim alHasidi, who had been captured by the US after fighting Americans in Afghanistan, returned to Libya, and released under a bargain for Hasidi and his Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) militants to abandon extremism and become productive members of society. Quite obviously, and with the US, UK, and NATO’s help, Hasidi and his men went back on this bargain and are now sowing murder and mayhem across Libya. Libyan Rebels Listed by US State Department as Terrorists NATO leaders are guilty under US code of providing material support to terrorists. “Whoever knowingly provides material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization, or attempts or conspires to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 15 years, or both, and, if the death of any person results, shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life. To violate this paragraph, a person must have knowledge that the organization is a designated terrorist organization (as defined in subsection (g)(6)), that the organization has engaged or engages in terrorist activity (as defined in section 212(a)(3)(B) of the Immigration and Nationality Act), or that the organization has engaged or engages in terrorism (as defined in section 140(d)(2) of the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Fiscal Years 1988 and 1989).” -USC § 2339B. Providing 7 material support or resources to designated foreign terrorist organizations The article titled, “Libyan rebel commander admits his fighters have al-Qaeda links” featured Abdel-Hakim alHasidi, who had been captured by the US after fighting Americans in Afghanistan, returned to Libya, and released under a bargain for Hasidi and his Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) militants to abandon extremism and become productive members of society. In March 2011, the London Telegraph reported that Libya’s rebels had direct ties to Al Qaeda and that both leaders and fighters had spent time in both Iraq and Afghanistan combating US troops. Quite obviously, and with the US, UK, and NATO’s help, Hasidi and his men went back on this bargain and are now sowing murder and mayhem across Libya. The New York Time more recently reported in an article titled, “Exiled Islamists Watch Rebellion Unfold at Home” that LIFG has “renounced Al Qaeda and are part of the mosaic of rebel fighters united under the umbrella of the Transitional National Council, the opposition leadership that the United States formally recognized as Libya’s legitimate government.” Of course, “renouncement” is exactly what these very same men did to be released from Qaddafi’s prisons in the first place before immediately taking up arms and laying waste to the nation. 8 The New York Times also notes that exiled LIFG leader Abu Sohaib, currently being harbored in London, is unable to return to Libya because he and LIFG is a listed terrorist across the Middle East and throughout most of Europe, including the UK. His LIFG fighters are noted as having “combat experience in Iraq or Afghanistan,” and that they are part of the “social fabric of eastern Libya,” namely Benghazi, Tobruk, and Darnah in a region often referred to as Cyrenaica. Image: Taken from a US West Point study, these graphs created by data obtained in Iraq clearly show that Libya’s eastern region, and the cities of Darnah and Benghazi in particular, provided by far more militants found fighting US troops in Iraq than any other nation, including Saudi Arabia. An apt summary of the report can be found at …. To get a clearer picture of just how much of the “social fabric of eastern Libya” these Al Qaeda LIFG fighters make up, a study from West Point US Military Academy indicates that this region produced more foreign fighters per capita found in Iraq than any other nation including Saudi Arabia. 9 The report, explained in detail by geopolitical analyst Dr. Webster Tarpley, proves just how understated the New York Times article is in portraying these terrorists as “part of the social fabric of eastern Libya.” The facts prove quite clearly that terrorism is the social fabric of eastern Libya. Just this week, the UK Independent provided its readership with a watered down headline that reads, “Rebel military chief says he was tortured by CIA.” The vast majority of these fighters came from Darnah and Benghazi, the latter being the epicenter of the current Libyan rebellion. The article indicates that the current rebel leader, Abdulhakim Belhaj (aka Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi) is in fact an LIFG founding member, with combat experience in Afghanistan against the Russians, omits that he was also involved in fighting US troops there in 2001, but does mention that he was held by the CIA, then the Libyan government before taking command of NATO-backed rebels in Libya. The Daily Beast reports in an article titled, “Libya’s Powerful Islamist Leader,” that Belhaj was in fact, faceto-face with Osama Bin Laden back in the 1980′s, and that the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) is listed by both the U.S. State Department and the British Home Office as an international terrorist organization. 10 Image: A screenshot taken directly from the US State Department website showing the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) clearly listed as a foreign terrorist organization. This is important, as US Code prohibits providing material support to listed terrorist organizations. With revelations of Al Qaeda and LIFG fighters leading the Libyan rebellion with NATO-members’ full military, financial, and diplomatic support, attempts are being made to plea ignorance as to the true nature of the rebels. Listed below LIFG, is MEK, an Iraqi/Iranian group also being armed and supported by the US. With the corporate media’s help, Belhaj/al-Hasidi and his men are being portrayed as reformed terrorists despite the fact that they are still LIFG fighters and LIFG itself is still listed as an international terrorist organization. 11 And while many will applaud the corporate media for coming forward with this information, it should be noted that Pepe Escobar first broke this story on Russia Today, and the US and British propaganda outlets have merely been forced to address the growing public awareness of who these “pro-democracy” rebels really are and what role the US and British governments have had in betraying their people by providing material support for men who literally killed US and UK troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan over the 10 year “War on Terror.” According to US Code Section 2339A & 2339B, the leaders of NATO, along with the US, UK, and French governments, are clearly guilty of providing a listed terrorist organization with material support in the most egregious, overt case since the code was written. The staggering scale of training, arming, and providing air support for Libyan Islamic Fighting Group militants, listed by the US State Department itself as a terrorist organization, all done criminally under the guise of “international law” rubber stamped by the contrived UN and bolstered with support from the equally contrived International Criminal Court, may be partially why more people are unable to understand the scope of criminality involved in NATO’s intervention in Libya. A similar situation exists within Iran, where another terrorist organization, the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) are being covertly armed and aided in fighting the Iranian government. US policy makers are fully aware that organizations like LIFG and MEK have US blood on their hands. 12 In fact, their only concern is how using such organizations will appear publicly and how such perceptions might threaten their agendas. In the Fortune 500-funded Brookings Institution report, “Which Path to Persia?” we can see clearly the thought process that goes on behind supporting terrorist organizations. Brookings’ only concern is how to remove MEK terrorists from the US State Department list (listed just below LIFG) so they can be supported more overtly in a Libyanstyle military intervention. “Potential Ethnic Proxies,” page 117-118 (page 130-131 of the PDF): “Perhaps the most prominent (and certainly the most controversial) opposition group that has attracted attention as a potential U.S. proxy is the NCRI (National Council of Resistance of Iran), the political movement established by the MEK (Mujahedin-e Khalq). Critics believe the group to be undemocratic and unpopular, and indeed anti-American. In contrast, the group’s champions contend that the movement’s long-standing opposition to the Iranian regime and record of successful attacks on and intelligence-gathering operations against the regime make it worthy of U.S. support. They also argue that the group is no longer antiAmerican and question the merit of earlier accusations. 13 Raymond Tanter, one of the group’s supporters in the United States, contends that the MEK and the NCRI are allies for regime change in Tehran and also act as a useful proxy for gathering intelligence. The MEK’s greatest intelligence coup was the provision of intelligence in 2002 that led to the discovery of a secret site in Iran for enriching uranium. Despite its defenders’ claims, the MEK remains on the U.S. government list of foreign terrorist organizations. In the 1970s, the group killed three U.S. officers and three civilian contractors in Iran. During the 1979-1980 hostage crisis, the group praised the decision to take America hostages and Elaine Sciolino reported that while group leaders publicly condemned the 9/11 attacks, within the group celebrations were widespread. Undeniably, the group has conducted terrorist attacks— often excused by the MEK’s advocates because they are directed against the Iranian government. For example, in 1981, the group bombed the headquarters of the Islamic Republic Party, which was then the clerical leadership’s main political organization, killing an estimated 70 senior officials. More recently, the group has claimed credit for over a dozen mortar attacks, assassinations, and other assaults on Iranian civilian and military targets between 1998 and 2001. 14 At the very least, to work more closely with the group (at least in an overt manner), Washington would need to remove it from the list of foreign terrorist organizations.” US policy makers, working directly for Wall Street and London corporate-financier interests, clearly have no qualms over using or supporting terrorism, with perception management being their only concern. We see this diabolical methodology, precisely articulated in “Which Path to Persia?” now being executed across Libya verbatim. It looks as if there was not enough time to get LIFG off various international lists of terrorist organizations as Brookings had hoped to do with MEK, and instead a concerted effort by the corporate-media and NATO members is being made to downplay the reality that the US, British, French and Qatari governments are openly sponsoring terrorism. Look for similar narratives as seen in Libya to be used in both Syria and Iran – with militant terrorists portrayed as hapless protesters being oppressed by a brutal government, before a full-scale military insurrection followed by a US led military intervention. AFRICOM and the Libya War Oil industry analysts predict that by the year 2015, the United States will be getting 25 percent of its imported oil from African sources. The biggest oil producers in Africa are Libya, with 47 billion barrels in proved reserves (and maybe lots more yet undiscovered), Nigeria (37.5 billion barrels), Angola (13.5 billion barrels), Algeria (13.4 billion barrels) and the Sudan (6.8 billion barrels). Handing Libya to Al Qaeda, The Line Has Been Crossed. Libya: The Greatest Betrayal First - let's not labor under any delusions. Obama, Cameron, and Sarkozy are heads of state in name only. It is the depravity and megalomania amongst the banks, corporations, and the institutions they have contrived that are responsible for the most egregious betrayal in Western history. 16 For 10 years the West's leadership have stirred up hatred and fear amongst their populations to justify a lengthy and very costly global war that has sent US, British, Canadian, German, French, and many other troops, around the world, into dangerous adversity, and ultimately to their graves to fight "the forces of terror." Now, almost as if savoring the irony, the New York Times, on behalf of the corporate-financier oligarchs that presume dominion over the Western world, fully admit that Al Qaeda terrorists, men who literally killed US troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan are now in Libya and are the benefactors of billions of dollars in Western aid. Diplomatic recognition, training, weapons, the lending of intelligence assets, the full unwavering support of the West's "media," NATO-member air support, and even graced with Western special forces fighting side-by-side with them on the ground. This timely confession is also in response in part to revelations that the Libyan rebel commander now filling the streets of Tripoli with indescribable horror is a hardcore Al Qaeda leader, reported first in the Telegraph months ago, and again this week on RT and covered in depth by respected geopolitical analyst Dr. Webster Tarpley. 17 While naive Americans are brimming with pride as the military machine bankrupting them into destitution rolls over another minute nation an ocean away, they seem ignorant or unable to wrap their minds around how egregiously they've been betrayed. After 10 years, thousands of dead troops, tens of thousands broken mentally or physically, an economy diverted to war, occupation, and "nation building" overseas while America's infrastructure rots beneath her, the corporate-financier oligarchs have decided to betray and infinitely humiliate America's armed forces in the worst manner imaginable - have them provide air cover, Intel, and special operational support for blood-thirsty mercenaries that hunted and killed their brothers in arms for the past decade. Entire families have been destroyed, communities devastated by the loss of their brothers and sisters, friends, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, fighting what they thought was a war for the very survival of their way of life. Today, in Libya, with Al Qaeda literally being handed a nation-state by these corporate-financiers through their political and military proxies, the leaders we have elected and the corporations we have helped grow to monstrous proportions now squat upon the graves our nation's fallen and defile their memories and the ideals they believed they were giving their lives for in an unforgivable way. 18 And while it will be claimed by many that this is "Obama's War," it most certainly is not. The very cadre of Neo-Conservatives that engineered the last decade of debilitating global war at the expense of American blood and treasure have been quietly cheerleading the expansion of NATO's intervention in Libya. This can be seen in unequivocal terms in a letter written to US House Republicans imploring them to end their resistance to the current, unconstitutional war, and instead discard the UNSC resolution and give even more support for the terrorists seizing Libya on their behalf. Paul Wolfowitz, Elliott Abrams, Max Boot, Frederick Kagan, Karl Rove, Ellen Bork, Robert Kagan, Liz Cheney, William Kristol, Dan Senor, and James Woolsey are just some of the names of individuals that affixed their signatures at the bottom of this letter. Quite clearly, this is not exclusively "Obama's War," rather one engineered and promoted by the Fortune 500 banks and corporations that include both Obama and America's most notorious Neo-Conservatives as loyal servants. If ever there was a time for our military, not just the rank and file, but the officers that lead them and whose hands young fighting men put their lives into, to recall their oath given to the US Constitution and their duty to protect and defend their nation and their people, it would be now. 19 If ever there was a time to recognize our self-proclaimed leadership, crutching their legitimacy along with the facade of "democracy" as the self-serving egregious traitors they are - the time is now. And when the people faith in their government falters, let us be vigilant against pretend reformers. Let us make sure military men stepping forward to rectify our nation's slide into the surreal aren't corporate-fascist serving Council on Foreign Relations members like General Stanley McChrystal or General David Petraeus, both of whom are guilty of helping to foist this facade upon the American people at tragic costs to us all. For the average man or woman in America, now would be a good time to start putting these corporations and banks out of business. Boycott and replace them systematically, day to day, little by little. America has misplaced their faith in these world-spanning corporations and have traded their independence and self-reliance in for the illusion of convenience. It is time to take that independence back. It is also time to vote each and every incumbent out of office that has served these agendas and promoted this war, now exposed as an absolute hoax. Those like John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Joe Lieberman come particularly to mind. 20 Finally, it is time to start getting organized as a community. Reach out to your neighbors, start a marksmanship club, help each other with starting a garden, and start standing up for one another when this corrupt, parasitic system comes searching for sustenance to continue fueling its dark deeds. By exercising each and every one of your Constitutional rights, collectively as a community and on a daily basis, you ensure their vigor in standing up against tyranny of all kinds. Now is the time, this far and no further - if not for ourselves, for the thousands of Americans that shed their lives in the belief they did so for a higher cause and whose memories are now being defiled by the despicable actions of Wall Street and London, and the degenerate army of sycophants that serve them, from Europe to North America, from Israel's leadership, to the corporate oligarchs that manipulate the people of Australia. This evil empire has reached an intolerable height. For a list of the corporate-financier interests that truly run Western society please see, "Naming Names." For more information on self-sufficiency please see, "The Globalsits' Worst Nightmare." To learn more about why and how to boycott the corporate-financiers that dominate our lives, please see, "Destroy the Globalists." 21 Libya: NATO Enabling War Crimes Cutting off a city from food & war is a war crime - again the ICC demonstrates its utter worthlessness. According to Fox News, a Libyan rebel "spokesman" recently boasted, "in the end, we will get [the city of] Sirte, even if we have to cut water and electricity and let NATO pound it with air strikes." Sirte is one of many cities still standing in defiance of NATO's operations to seize the nation of 6 million people, impose upon them an "internationally approved" government, and begin pilfering their resources under the guise of "economic liberalization." Rebels have intentionally surrounded Sirte to cut off electricity as well as the flow of supplies including food and cooking gas in a bid to literally "starve the city into submission," as reported by the London Telegraph. This latest boast by rebels, now operating openly with notorious Al Qaeda members leading their fighters, and still with full military support from NATO, seems to suggest that water will be cut as well. According to the International Committee of the Red Cross, the denial of humanitarian assistance is a crime under international law. The Red Cross adds that "a massacre is not necessarily committed only with knives." 22 While many will attempt to portray the premeditated creation of a humanitarian disaster as "more humane" than taking the city of Sirte by force - rebels have in fact already tried to take the city by force and were soundly repelled. NATO airstrikes have apparently proved ineffective and other cities are now bolstering their defenses and rejecting calls by the NATO-backed Al Qaeda fighters to surrender. As the deadline for NATO's military intervention grows increasingly nearer, their efforts to seize the nation have become increasingly more desperate and in proportion more depraved. As has been pointed out and now clearly evident in Tripoli, the Benghazi rebels backed by NATO are not motivated by inclinations of "democracy" but rather tribal, ethnic, and viciously racial prejudices. Reuters has recently tried to whitewash what is essentially wholesale genocide being waged against Tripoli's black population by the Benghazi rebels led by Al Qaeda's notorious al-Hasidi. The targeting of Tripoli's black population has been entirely written off by the corporate media as rebels pursuing "suspected mercenaries." Why then would Sirte, Bani Waled, or any other city still standing soundly in defiance of these rebels and NATO, surrender and subject themselves to ensured genocide? 23 We are faced with a textbook case of a very real crime against humanity, yet the International Criminal Court is utterly silent, as are the voices in the UN that were vigorously clamoring to authorize war against Libya back in March of 2011. Silent also are the fraudulent George Soros Open Society-funded Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International (page 10) organizations. The ICC and the supporting myriad of contrived rights advocates once again demonstrates they are illegitimate institutions contrived solely to serve Wall Street and London's interests in a clearly one-sided manner. It is no wonder why the African Union has wholly rejected the International Criminal Court's decisions made against Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi or why nations across the world exhibit increasing hostility toward "independent" NGOs like Human Rights Watch, Freedom House, and Amnesty International. Nations should not be expected to permit such organizations to operate within their borders when in reality their goal is not defending human rights but finding a predicate for foreign military intervention on behalf of the corporate-financier interests that fund them. Who Watches the "Watchers?" So who does the world turn to when the "international community" begins recklessly mass-murdering entire populations, shutting off entire cities from food and 24 water to "starve them into submission," and "pound" civilian populations with airstrikes? The answer is, we turn to ourselves - the individual - who on a daily basis have facilitated in the first place the corporations and banks of Wall Street and London who are the perpetrators of these horrendous crimes. We have created these world-spanning financial and corporate empires, given them the power to act against entire nation-states with absolute impunity, so it must be we the people who rein back in this terrible power. Just as we gave them this power by dedicating our time, money, talents, and attention to them, we can take it back by denying them likewise our time, money, talents, and attention. Turn to local alternatives, do without when we can, and entirely replace these corporations with local solutions systematically. If these elitists impose regulations to prevent such activity, take a cue from the brave people of America's Northeast who have passed local ordinances to cancel out US federal dictates. Ultimately, we must remember that these people are not the progressive, enlightened, caretakers of humanity they attempt to portray themselves as. The global elite are essentially violent thugs, dressing up their tyranny with the trappings of religion, civilization, political legitimacy, and faux progress. 25 We must be prepared defend our communities, our nation-states, and ourselves intellectually, politically, socially, financially, and physically. Our denial of this terrible and ever-growing tyranny will not spare us when its attention finally shifts toward our homes, families, businesses, and communities. Just as the Soviets or the Nazis worked their way from foreigners, then the fringes of society, before it began cannibalizing its own people, so too will this global Wall Street-London tyranny. It was the Iraqis yesterday, it is the Libyans today, it may be the Syrians tomorrow, but inevitably it will be all of us. Better to stand up now than allow the tragic wheel of history to make yet another predictable revolution. Ground operation in Libya could start in April Russian intelligence The international coalition force is planning a ground operation in Libya that could start in late April, a highranking Russian intelligence service source said on Friday. "Information coming via different channels shows that NATO countries, with the active participation of Britain and the United States, are developing a plan for a ground operation on Libyan territory," he said. 26 "From all indications, a ground operation will be launched if the alliance fails to force the Gaddafi regime to capitulate with air strikes and missile attacks." If the events in Libya follow this scenario, the ground operation could start "in late April-early May," he added. This is why US President "Quagmire" will be using prime time on Monday to "sell" this war against Libya to the American people, and will be doing the same thing in private with Congress on Wednesday. However, I would imagine on Wednesday, behind closed doors, the President will be laying out the agenda of regime change on Israel's "to do" list for the US military, to be bought with American blood and money, which may well include Syria and Iran. There is no real humanitarian agenda here this war is all about the control off Libya's oil, water, and other resources. The Truth About America’s Real Agenda In The Middle East America is the spawn of empire building and from the start has itself engaged heavily in that activity. In nearly all cases it has shown a preference for bribery, coercion, intimidation and force over diplomacy and cooperation. As a nation founded on invasion, occupation and genocide, America has maintained its empire by those means to this day. 27 Although Spain began the slaughter with the voyages of Columbus, the British colonies that became the United States continued it with a vengeance. On October 26, 1606, King James I of England granted a royal charter to establish The London Company, a forprofit, joint stock venture that was also known as the Charter of the Virginia Company of London. The company’s purpose was the colonization, for profit, of North America. From the Start; Murdering the Real Americans In 1607 the British arrived in Jamestown and, shortly thereafter, began the calculated extermination of the indigenous population. By 1890 an estimated 90,000,000 people, in North, Central and South America had been systematically slaughtered in the fulfillment of Manifest Destiny. The overt genocide in North America was curtailed after the infamous massacre at Wounded Knee in 1890. When I look back now from this high hill of my old age, I can still see the butchered women and children lying heaped and scattered all along the crooked gulch as plain as when I saw them with eyes still young. And I can see that something else died there in the bloody mud, and was buried in the blizzard. A people’s dream died there. It was a beautiful dream. 28 And I, to whom so great a vision was given in my youth, — you see me now a pitiful old man who has done nothing, for the nation’s hoop is broken and scattered. There is no center any longer, and the sacred tree is dead. — Black Elk, Oglala Holy Man on the aftermath of the Massacre at Wounded Knee, South Dakota, December, 1890. The United States Army Seventh Cavalry used Gatling guns to slaughter 300 helpless Lakota children, men and women. Although efforts at limited, selective genocide have continued, they have become much more clandestine. Lee Brightman, United Native Americans President, estimates that of the Native population of 800,000 (in the US), as many as 42% of the women of childbearing age and 10% of the men…have been sterilized… The first official inquiry into the sterilization of Native women…by Dr. Connie Uri…reported that 25,000 Indian women had been permanently sterilized within Indian Health Services facilities alone through 1975… No one actually knows how many native women were sterilized during the seventies. You may rest assured that the eugenics movement, although out of sight, is not extinct. 29 Motivation for Mass Murder Throughout most of American history, the primary motivation for innumerable annexations, invasions, occupations, coups, assassinations and the installation of genocidal dictators has been to advance the agenda of capitalist globalization and to protect the privatized profit machine wherever footholds have been established. Whatever the nature of the “business” that has entrenched itself in any sovereign nation, it can count upon the protection of its private security company the U.S. government. Chiquita Banana Republic? Jacobo Arbenz became the democratically elected president of Guatemala in 1951, winning 65% of the vote. In 1952 Arbenz announced an Agrarian Reform Program which threatened to nationalize the United Fruit Company (Chiquita Banana). Faced with the reforms of a socialist democracy, the corporation sought American intervention. (emphasis added) The democratically elected, progressive government of Guatemala was overthrown in 1954 by a CIA-organized and funded coup. The pretense for this assault on democracy was the alleged, ubiquitous threat of Soviet takeover when, in fact, Russia had no interest in the country. They did not even maintain diplomatic relations. (emphasis added) 30 This act of U.S. terrorism resulted in one of the most inhumane chapters of the 20th century. A forty year reign of terror ensued, eight years of which was supported by the Reagan administration. This was a period of torture, military-government death squads, mass executions, disappearances and inconceivable cruelty resulting in the extermination of at least 200,000 civilians. In 1982 Reagan went to visit General Efrain Rios Montt, possibly the worst of the military dictators, who had slaughtered the Guatemalan Indians and peasants indiscriminately. Montts’ actions had won him global condemnation. After meeting with the butcher, Reagan stated that the general was getting “a bad deal”. This is but a single example among many. To gain further knowledge, try What Uncle Sam Really Wants by Noam Chomsky and Killing Hope: U.S. Military and C.I.A. Interventions since World War II by William Blum. Also visit Serendipity for some rather stark and ghastly revelations. Ronnie Strikes a Blow for “Democracy” In Nicaragua the proxy army of Ronald Reagan, AKA the Contras, was formed from the vicious National Guard of Somoza, a mercilessly repressive, U.S.-friendly dictator. 31 From 1981-1989 the Contras waged all-out war, on behalf of Washington, against the Sandinistas. Their goal was to destroy progressive government social and economic programs, which were not favorable to the capitalist “free market” agenda. The civilian death toll was well over 13,000. John Stockwell, 13-year veteran of the CIA and former U.S. Marine Corps major, had this to say about the American method of “spreading democracy”. They go into villages. They haul out families. With the children forced to watch, they castrate the father. They peel the skin off his face. They put a grenade in his mouth, and pull the pin. With the children forced to watch, they gang-rape the mother, and slash her breasts off. And sometimes, for variety, they make the parents watch while they do these things to the children. These are the activities done by the Contras. The Contras are the people President Reagan called ‘freedom fighters.’ He said: ‘they are the moral equivalent of our founding fathers’. 32 The Addicted Empire Venezuela is the largest oil producer in South America. In 2002, a U.S. backed coup in Venezuela became a U.S. back-fired coup. The democratically elected Hugo Chavez was temporarily ousted and replaced by the Bush-approved businessman Pedro Carmona. The outraged response from the people of Venezuela, including most of the military, was so overwhelming that the U.S. puppet was forced to give up his stolen prize after less than 48 hours. He fled Venezuela after he was placed under house arrest pending trial for his part in the failed coup, sought and was granted asylum by Colombia and later turned up in Miami. (emphasis added) The American instigators/enablers of this recent “intervention” were appointees to the Bush administration whose careers were established orchestrating the dirty wars of Ronald Reagan. The reason this coup was attempted and why Chavez has a target painted on his back by America can be summed up in a single word oil. That’s probably the single most important commodity on Earth today, though water may soon overtake it, but that’s another discussion. 33 Since Venezuela is a democracy — in fact, and not in name only like America’s petroleum industry wants global control of oil production and the profits from it. They don’t want to share those profits with the People of Venezuela or anyone else, but that’s exactly what they’ve been forced to do by the Chavez government. That is to say, the government attempts to act in the best interests of the majority of the citizens rather than in service of powerful special interests. The social democracy of Venezuela is hindering the capitalist profit machine in its impossible quest for infinite growth. That the filthy peasants of some back-water Third World country should have their lives improved at the expense oil company stockholders and billionaire CEOs is simply unacceptable. The U.S. is attempting to do in Venezuela what it did when it came to the rescue of the United Fruit Company in Guatemala. Hugo Chavez is a marked man. I’m surprised he’s still alive. Then again, look how many assassination attempts Fidel Castro has survived. 34 Go East Young Empire! The U.S. planned an invasion of Afghanistan well before the conveniently timed “attack” of September 11th. There are strong economic and strategic interests, centered on the control of oil reserves in Central Asia, which are the true motivation for the occupation of Afghanistan. The U.S. is eying those reserves in the Caspian and Central Asia as an alternative to oil from the unstable Persian Gulf region. Afghanistan is the preferred gateway to and delivery route for the oil, for which American oil companies have acquired rights to as much as 75 percent. Big Oil wants a pipeline through Afghanistan to the Pakistani port of Karachi on the Arabian Sea. It seems apparent however, that there is little enthusiasm for such a project from whatever powers may be in Afghanistan. In order for the pipeline to become a reality, an obedient puppet regime, enabling U.S. remote control of the country, is required. The slaughter taking place in Afghanistan has little to do with “the war on terror”, which is nothing more than a pretext for escalating American aggression, and much to do with advancing the agenda of the capitalist profit machine. It’s simply a variation on a theme. 35 Don’t Mess With the Dollar! Saddam Hussein made a fatal error when he became the first OPEC member to demand payment for oil in euros rather than dollars. A shift from petrodollar to petroeuro would have a catastrophic effect on the American economy. Continued American control of Iraqi oil is the reason for the illegal invasion and occupation of that sovereign nation. Anyone who was paying the least attention knew long before the attack was launched; there were no weapons of mass destruction and no connection with Al Qaeda. One of the first things done after the invasion was to put Iraq back on the petro-dollar. America was largely in control of the inputs and outputs of Iraqi throughout the 1990s. Payment for the oil was in petrodollars, and there was no invasion. No sooner was the switch made to petroeuros than incontrovertible evidence of imminent danger from Saddam’s awesome military might and close ties with Al Qaeda were discovered (invented) and used as a pretext for invasion and occupation. Once again the capitalist enforcer, U.S. military might, was brought in to ensure that “business as usual” would not be interrupted. 36 history of the world. In the years following the illegal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, with the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives, big oil is making the highest profits of any industry in the War profiteering and weapons sales have also been very profitable. The Peasants are Revolting! At least that’s how the globalist elite feel. Suddenly, as if some multi-lingual epiphany has simultaneously struck in several places, common people in the Middle East and elsewhere are getting uppity. They are demanding democracy and insisting that their human rights be recognized. They are taking inspiration from each other and, hopefully, a chain reaction has begun that will lead to a better world for all. Even in America, lowly, insignificant, middle-class blue collar laborers are emerging from a long sleep of indoctrinated complacency and demanding their civil liberties be returned and their human rights honored. Could things get any worse for our masters? I certainly hope so. Imagine if you will, several OPEC nations suddenly being transformed from capitalist-friendly monarchies and dictatorships into social democracies like those that are beginning to emerge in Central and South America. 37 Envision the peoples of Third World countries all over Earth coming to the understanding that the internal strife in their societies, which is often fomented and exaggerated by outside forces, is allowing those same forces to steal their resources and heritage, destroy their culture and environment and deprive them of their dignity, integrity and humanity. It’s one thing for America and its “allies” to bring in the enforcers and abort one or two isolated, nascent, “socialist” experiments. It would be quite another to deal with a global flare-up of societies, especially those in oil producing nations, suddenly awakened and enraged by the injustices they have endured for centuries at the hands of a cadre of parasitic, psychopathic, self-proclaimed rulers. “It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine!” — R.E.M. Could it be possible that we are about to witness, even participate in, a global, societal sea change? Is there a chance that homo sapiens are beginning to access their species consciousness, awakening their potential to embrace the reality of a single human family? Perhaps the would-be rulers of the world have finally pushed too far, hard and wide in their quest for supremacy over all. 38 Their actions, made so highly visible today by the nearly instantaneous global spread of information, may become the catalyst that will initiate the disintegration of their dystopian dream. Their lust for power and control and the ruthless pursuit of them may be about to backfire. The technological “shrinking” of our world, the sudden ability of practically everyone to know what is happening, almost everywhere, nearly in real time, is making us all more aware of each other and our shared humanity than ever before in history. That awareness also brings the recognition of the injustice, oppression and exploitation we are all being subjected to. If sufficient numbers of people realize they ultimately share the same goal if they instinctively work toward that single, identical purpose, however independently, nothing will stop them from achieving it. If it’s true that the darkest hour is just before dawn, then the sun is just about to rise. Libya: The Destruction of a Country. The Bombing of Civilian Targets Bombs and rockets struck residential houses and fell near the hospital. 39 The glass of the Cardiac Center building was broken, and in the building of the maternity ward for pregnant women with heart disease a wall collapsed and part of the roof. This resulted in ten miscarriages whereby babies died, the women are in intensive care, doctors are fighting for their lives. Our colleagues and we are working seven days a week, to save people. This is a direct consequence of falling bombs and missiles in residential buildings resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries, which are operated and reviewed now by our doctors. Such a large number of wounded and killed, as during today, did not result during the total of all the riots in Libya. The hypocrisy here reeks mightily, its stench going all the way back to the Oval Office in DC. Obama has used the UN resolution as his very own "Trojan horse" mechanism for attempting to ultimately control Libya's oil and water resources. If Russia and China are unable to get an immediate "cease fire" from the UN, one has to wonder how long they will both refrain from acting militarily on Qaddafi's behalf. 40 Remember: China had a lot of development deals with Libya before they had to pull out over 30,000 workers when the unrest started to spread. And that would definitely set the stage for World War 3. For a list of many of the corporations responsible for these increasingly egregious crimes against humanity, please see, "Naming Names." Naming Names: Your Real Government When dark deeds unfold, point the finger in this direction. This is your real government they transcend elected administrations, they permeate every political party, and they are responsible for nearly every aspect of the average American and European's way of life. When the "left" is carrying the torch for two "Neo-Con" wars, starting yet another based on the same lies, peddled by the same media outlets that told of Iraqi WMD's, the world has no choice, beyond profound cognitive dissonance, but to realize something is wrong. What's wrong is a system completely controlled by a corporate-financier oligarchy with financial, media, and industrial empires that span the globe. 41 If we do not change the fact that we are helplessly dependent on these corporations that regulate every aspect of our nation politically, and every aspect of our lives personally, nothing else will ever change. The following list, however extensive, is by far not allinclusive. However after these examples, a pattern should become self-evident with the same names and corporations being listed again and again. It should be self-evident to readers of how dangerously pervasive these corporations have become in our daily lives. Finally, it should be self-evident as to how necessary it is to excise these corporations from our lives, our communities, and ultimately our nations, with the utmost expediency. International Crisis Group Background: While the International Crisis Group (ICG) claims to be "committed to preventing and resolving deadly conflict," the reality is that they are committed to offering solutions crafted well in advance to problems they themselves have created in order to perpetuate their own corporate agenda. 42 Nowhere can this be better illustrated than in Thailand and more recently in Egypt. ICG member Kenneth Adelman had been backing Thailand's Prime Minster Thaksin Shinwatra, a former Carlyle Group adviser who was literally standing in front of the CFR in NYC on the eve of his ousting from power in a 2006 military coup. Since 2006, Thaksin's meddling in Thailand has been propped up by fellow Carlyle man James Baker and his Baker Botts law firm, Belfer Center adviser Robert Blackwill of Barbour Griffith & Rogers, and now Robert Amsterdam's Amsterdam & Peroff, a major corporate member of the globalist Chatham House. With Thailand now mired in political turmoil led by Thaksin Shinwatra and his "red shirt" color revolution, the ICG is ready with "solutions" in hand. Lent's hands with arguments that stopping Thaksin's subversive activities amounts to human rights abuses, in hopes of allowing the globalist-backed revolution to swell beyond control. The unrest in Egypt, of course, was led entirely by ICG member Mohamed ElBaradei and his US State Department recruited, funded, and supported April 6 Youth Movement coordinated by Google's Wael Ghonim. 43 While the unrest was portrayed as being spontaneous, fueled by the earlier Tunisian uprising, ICG's ElBaradei, Ghonim, and their youth movement had been in Egypt since 2010 assembling their "National Front for Change" and laying the groundwork for the January 25th 2011 uprising. ICG's George Soros would then go on to fund Egyptian NGOs working to rewrite the Egyptian constitution after front-man ElBaradei succeeded in removing Hosni Mubarak. This Soros-funded constitution and the resulting servile stooge government it would create represents the ICG "resolving" the crisis their own ElBaradei helped create. What's more is that while the public seems to think these crises spring up like wildfires, those following the Brookings' corporate funded studies and publications see these crises coming years in advance. 45 These are premeditated, meticulously planned conflicts that are triggered to usher in premeditated, meticulously planned solutions to advance Brookings' corporate supporters, who are numerous. The ongoing operations against Iran, including USbacked color revolutions, US-trained and backed terrorists inside Iran, and crippling sanctions were all spelled out in excruciating detail in the Brookings Institute report, "Which Path to Persia?" The more recent UN Security Council resolution 1973 regarding Libya uncannily resembles Kenneth Pollack's March 9, 2011 Brookings report titled "The Real Military Options in Libya." Nearly every self-serving career politician, their advisers, and those populating the boards of the Fortune 500 are CFR members. Many of the books, magazine articles, and newspaper columns we read are written by CFR members, along with reports, similar to Brookings Institute that dictate, verbatim, the legislation that ends up before the West's lawmakers. 49 A good sampling of the most active wings of the CFR can be illustrated best in last year's "Ground Zero Mosque" hoax, where CFR members from both America's political right and left feigned a heated debate over New York City's so-called Cordoba House near the 3 felled World Trade Center buildings. In reality, the Cordoba House was established by fellow CFR member Feisal Abdul Rauf, who in turn was funded by CFR financing arms including the Carnegie Corporation of New York, chaired by 9/11 Commission head Thomas Kean, and various Rockefeller foundations. Individual members populating its "senior panel of advisers" consist of the founders, CEOs, and chairmen of the Chatham House's corporate membership. Chatham's "experts" are generally plucked from the world of academia and their "recent publications" are generally used internally as well as published throughout Chatham's extensive list of member media corporations, as well as industry journals and medical journals. That Chatham House "experts" are submitting entries to medical journals is particularly alarming considering GlaxoSmithKline and Merck are both Chatham House corporate members. 53 No better example of this incredible conflict of interest can be given than the current Thai "red" color revolution being led by Chatham House's Amsterdam & Peroff with consistent support lent by other corporate members including the Economist, the Telegraph and the BBC. In one case, the Telegraph printed, "Thai protests analysis by Dr Gareth Price and Rosheen Kabraji," within which Price and Kabraji make a shameless attempt at defending the Western-backed, Maoist themed, violent protests. While the Telegraph mentioned that Price and Kabraji were both analysts for the Chatham House, they failed to tell readers that the Telegraph itself retains a corporate membership within the Chatham House as does the Thai protest leader's lobbyist, Robert Amsterdam and his Amsterdam & Peroff lobbying firm. They not only retain armies of policy wonks and researchers to articulate their agenda and form a consensus internally, but also use their massive accumulation of unwarranted influence in media, industry, and finance to manufacture a self-serving consensus internationally. To believe that this corporate-financier oligarchy would subject their agenda and fate to the whims of the voting masses is naive at best. They have painstakingly ensured that no matter who gets into office, in whatever country, the guns, the oil, the wealth and the power keep flowing perpetually into their own hands. Nothing vindicates this poorly hidden reality better than a "liberal" Nobel Peace Prize wearing president, dutifully towing forward a myriad of "Neo-Con" wars, while starting yet another war in Libya. 56 Likewise, no matter how bloody your revolution is, if the above equation remains unchanged, and the corporate bottom lines left unscathed, nothing but the most superficial changes will have been made, and as is the case in Egypt with International Crisis Group stooge Mohamed ElBaradei worming his way into power, things may become substantially worse. The real revolution will commence when we identify the above equation as the true brokers of power and when we begin systematically removing our dependence on them, and their influence on us from our daily lives. The global corporate-financier oligarchy needs us, we do not need them, independence from them is the key to our freedom. 57
