1943 Degrees

A Canadian rival high school newspaper that was distributed in a specific southern Ontario high school in the years 2000 to 2002 to compete with its main school newspaper. The title came from reference to the melting point of a particular metal. The newspaper had 7 total issues. A special Christmas story (20 pages) was also released in 2000. Peak distribution was 120. The paper was originally printed in color in part to student financing. The first three issues were edited and endorsed by John Studley. Studley was removed as editor after the parental complaint scandal of February 2001. He was considered one of the most beautiful students at his high school and hence he promoted health, beauty and other interests. Sadly no one knows what happened to John Studley after high school. It was rumored he settled in Europe teaching society the implications of being just too 'hot'.
