Sr. Vice President – Real Estate  Managed or directly negotiated all acquisitions, dispositions and leases.  Portfolio grew through business acquisitions from 120 properties in 40 markets to 3,000 properties in 250 markets (U.S.) in three years. Four million square foot porfolio. Purchased database software and abstracted every property. Handled all aspects of lease administration until 2010, including expense audits and ad valorem tax protests. Alerted field personnel of upcoming expirations and provided cost saving alternatives for renewal/relocation. rd  Hired, supervised and instructed 3 party service providers and internal clients in negotiating 75+ consolidations over a seven year period. SAVINGS AND LOANS/RESOLUTION TRUST CORP., San Antonio, Texas 1982-1993 Loan analyst and underwriter for Commerce Savings and Alamo Savings. Recruited by the RTC to handle liquidations of Savings and Loans. Senior Manager – Business Development  Started career after college as a real estate broker. Owner of the company bought S&L and I became analyst for Chief Lending Officer.  Moved to Alamo Savings as loan underwriter. Loans at the time made mainly for land development; recommended none for approval.  Due to distressed economy, my responsibilities transitioned into a loan workout, foreclosure and bankruptcy specialist.  Recruited by the RTC after the Tax Reform Act crippled the banking industry.  Initial position with the RTC was Assistant Managing Director and primary duty was to liquidate Commerce Savings. Within months, promoted to Managing Agent to liquidate a small San Antonio Savings & Loan.. Youngest MA at the time; S & L liquidated within one year.  At RTC corporate office, aggregated $1 billion (BV) in assets, conducted RFP process, hired and managed contractor to liquidate the assets.
