MARKET WRAP
Markets end flat, Nifty down 20 pts at 5447& Sensex down 40 pts at 18177 Jul 2010 Food price index up 9.53% & Fuel price index down at 14.26% European markets up 0.5% -1% with highest contribution by French CAC 1 %. Nifty & Sensex consolidated today with Nifty ending at 5447 down 20 pts & Sensex at 18177, down 40 pts. July 2010 fuel price index eased at14.26% while food price index up at 9.53%. European markets are up 0.5% - 1% owing to better German factory orders. Dow future was down 20 pts due to higher unemployment claims, up at 479K.
